Use InventoryPath PO Inbox

The app is submitted for Shopify review; approval is pending. This guide describes the supported CSV workflow. See the product page for the Wholesale plan and release limits.

Open the app and verify the plan

After installing from Shopify’s actual listing when available, choose the Shopify plan, reopen the app and verify its current plan status. The app uses Shopify authentication and has no separate account. Free development-store approval is separate from a paid merchant subscription.

Load buyers and save case mappings

In Buyers & mappings, the owner loads buyer-name pages and optional catalog pages. The app supports up to 100 imported buyers and 25,000 indexed SKU-bearing variants. Choose a buyer with a complete Shopify default shipping address.

Save an explicit positive integer units-per-case mapping before using case, even for a one-unit case. Case mappings belong to the store and variant. Refresh and import are bounded, and the app checks each PO’s exact SKUs against current Shopify data. Matching is case-sensitive.

Prepare the CSV

Use UTF-8 CSV with exactly these four headers and no added columns. Each PO supports up to 100 lines and 64 KiB. These products are fictional; replace their SKUs with unique actual store SKUs.

With an explicitly saved twelve-unit coffee case, the example means 24 coffee units at 3.50 each and five tea units at 10.00 each: goods total 134.00, before shipping and any actual Shopify tax. Price is per individual unit, including case rows.

Quantity must be a positive integer, and unit must be unit or case. Preserve leading-zero SKUs and PO references as text. Use plain decimal amounts without currency symbols or thousands separators. JPY has no fractional amounts. Do not put email, phone or unrelated personal information into the CSV.

PDF, XLSX, images, AI extraction, OCR and email inbox intake are outside this release.

Review the intended buyer and current totals

Explicitly select the buyer. Enter a PO reference, matching shop currency and merchant-reviewed shipping charge, then upload or paste the CSV and select Review. Supported currencies are USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, JPY and AUD, with no foreign-exchange conversion.

Check recipient and address, exact products and SKUs, source units, saved case packs, converted units and PO-versus-catalog prices. Calculate current totals with Shopify. If buyer or catalog information changes, refresh, review and calculate again.

Correct missing or ambiguous SKUs or incomplete addresses in Shopify. Do not invent a match or approve an outdated calculation.

Approve one unpaid draft

Explicitly approve the current review to create one unpaid Shopify draft. Inspect the native draft and continue invoicing, payment and fulfillment in Shopify. The app does not send customer messages, collect payment, place supplier orders or guarantee inventory reservation. Shopify may recalculate tax and final amounts at checkout.

This customer-linked draft workflow does not require Shopify Plus and does not replace native Shopify B2B company purchasing.

Inspect held or uncertain attempts

Reopening or reimporting the same attempted buyer and PO preserves its existing result. An uncertain attempt remains held, reserves usage and requires native Shopify inspection, with no automatic retry.

Use the exact native draft link when provided, or search Shopify drafts for the PO or operation reference. Do not assume a timeout means that no draft exists or change a reference to bypass the hold. A known created draft needing review cannot be recreated through the app.

The owner may archive an attempt for manual handling with a reason. This does not erase the attempt or unlock another app creation.

Worksheet and usage

Download the reviewed CSV worksheet for manual handling. It is a review aid, rather than an invoice or fulfillment confirmation.

The Wholesale plan includes 200 recorded draft creations per applicable Shopify billing or trial window, counting known created drafts needing review and unknown reservations, plus 1,000 accepted intake or revision attempts. Invalid files are rejected. New creation stops when the allowance is full, with no automatic overage charges.

Privacy requests and uninstall

The owner downloads each private JSON response page, reviews incidental third-party information and delivers the complete response through an authorised channel before marking the request completed. Downloading does not automatically send a customer response. Contact support for help.

Raw PO text expires after 30 days and structured review or attempt records after 90 days. Uninstallation removes retained app data through lifecycle cleanup, while native Shopify drafts remain under the merchant’s control. The privacy notice describes mappings, safeguards and other retention periods.

Optional merchant setup tips

Optional setup tips are available. The full guide and core app work without email enrollment. Only the authenticated store owner can separately opt in and verify an eligible individual inbox.

Open Setup and optional tips inside the Shopify app for a guide based on your store’s recorded progress. Staff can use the guide without subscribing. The owner separately chooses an inbox, approves the displayed purpose and verifies a short-lived code. Inbox verification does not complete an app task or enroll a buyer, supplier, customer or rep in marketing.

The owner may request up to four educational tips over the original fourteen-day help window. Across InventoryPath app setup tips, the same verified inbox receives at most one help email per rolling twenty-four hours and three per rolling seven days. Production sending uses 09:00 to 17:00 in the confirmed store time zone. Messages may be skipped as app progress changes or their useful window passes.

Use an individual inbox without a + tag for optional tips. Zoho Campaigns rejects tagged addresses and some role addresses such as support@, info@ and admin@. The app explains this before requesting a verification code. Enter an eligible individual inbox yourself; operational email can still use supported role addresses.

Sender and Reply-To are Inventory App at [email protected]. Zoho Campaigns delivers optional setup tips. Zoho CPaaS/ZeptoMail delivers requested setup-tip verification codes under a separate transactional purpose. Brevo is retained only where needed for previous withdrawals, late-event handling and historical message/resource cleanup; it is not selected to send new tips for this app. Migration does not reenroll withdrawn or completed sequences.

Tips are separate from operational email, supplier/customer/rep verification, website newsletters and other marketing. Contacts are not imported automatically. The full guide, core functionality and direct support remain available without marketing consent.

Stop this app’s tips or all InventoryPath app setup tips for the inbox from the app or an email preferences link. Opening a preferences link displays confirmation; use the displayed withdrawal control. Provider unsubscribe and account-wide suppression also apply. A message already being sent may still arrive after withdrawal.

Uninstalling or erasing app data revokes current enrollment once detected. Reinstall does not automatically subscribe you, reset the original help window or restart a withdrawn or completed sequence. The privacy notice explains optional inbox, delivery/open/click processing and cleanup boundaries. Product support remains [email protected].

What counts as progress

Upload or paste UTF-8 CSV only; PDF, Excel and inbound email are not supported. Check exact SKU and case conversions, buyer ship-to details and Shopify totals. A confirmed draft and a prepared manual worksheet are different outcomes. File preparation is not a confirmed saved download. Never retry an uncertain create to complete a guide.
