Set up InventoryPath Order Exports

Use this guide to prepare a supplier workflow, review its output and configure verified access. The product page has plan details. The app is pre-launch; there is no public installation link yet.

Choose the supplier and export mode

Create a workflow for an exact Shopify line-item vendor. Check the vendor value against your products rather than assuming a partial name will match.

Use a new-item workflow for future eligible orders after activation. Use a snapshot report when the supplier needs matching recent rows repeated in each report. The source horizon is up to 59 days, with a 5,000-order scan cap. Privacy and reinstall boundaries can restrict either mode to future orders.

Select columns

Choose supported SKU, quantity, line-item personalisation, order attributes and selected supported order metafields. Select only the fields the supplier needs.

Shopify buyer name, email, phone and address fields are unavailable in this version. Customer-entered personalisation or attribute values may still contain personal information; review them before sharing.

Review the preview

Preview the eligible rows and excluded-line explanations before activation. Check vendor matching, required columns, payment or cancellation status, remaining physical quantity, hold tags and refund or exchange exceptions.

Check that the CSV or Excel columns and values match the supplier’s requirements. A preview is your opportunity to catch a wrong field or vendor selection before a scheduled file is generated.

Verify the supplier inbox

Save the correct supplier address and complete inbox verification. Suppliers receive private access-page links and verify their inbox before downloading. A forwarded link does not bypass verification.

Access codes are single-use and expire after ten minutes. File access expires after seven days. Notifications do not include spreadsheet attachments.

Activate a schedule

Choose an available schedule for the verified plan, then activate the workflow. Starter supports daily schedules. Growth allows up to ten active workflows, including at most two hourly workflows.

Review run history and usage after activation. Generation pauses at the first applicable quota. Each file is limited to 10,000 rows, 20 MiB of selected field text and 20 MiB total file size.

Manage changes and exceptions

Use Usage & plans inside Shopify to manage the subscription. A pending plan change does not grant extra allowance until Shopify confirms the current plan. Workflows above the applicable limits pause after a downgrade.

Review supplier receipt and order fulfillment through your normal business process. Order Exports reads orders without changing orders, inventory, fulfillment, checkout or themes.

For an excluded line, uncertain run, missing notification or access problem, use the support page.
