About InventoryPath

What we are

InventoryPath is the inventory practice of AvanSaber. Two complementary surfaces sit under the same roof: the educational content you find across our cluster pillars and blog, and the consulting and implementation engagements we deliver to enterprise customers.

The educational content is open and free to read. The engagements are by inquiry.

Both come from the same people. The engineers and operators who write the deep-tech posts on bitemporal inventory ledgers, event-sourced inventory, warehouse slotting as a constraint programming problem, and available-to-promise under concurrency are the same engineers and operators who run the implementations.

How we work

AvanSaber’s inventory practice operates case-by-case. We do not sell shrink-wrapped packages or fixed-price subscriptions. Every engagement starts with a discovery conversation, scopes against the customer’s actual workflow, and delivers against specific operational outcomes.

Past engagements have included:

Our service pages cover the three engagement shapes in detail: Inventory Implementation, Inventory Audits, and Inventory Advisory.

Where the writing comes from

The 400+ posts on InventoryPath span six topical pillars: warehouse management, demand forecasting, inventory KPIs, perpetual inventory, inventory turnover, and inventory management. Together they form what we believe is the most practitioner-credible inventory education library in the open web.

Two qualifications matter here. First, the deep-tech posts (clearly marked with named bylines and dated metadata) come directly from production work. When we publish a post on event-sourced inventory with a working SQL block, that SQL block runs in a real system we have built and maintained. When we publish a post on warehouse slotting with a CP-SAT model, the model has been benchmarked against real warehouse layouts.

Second, the legacy archive posts (clearly tagged legacy-archive) are preserved from earlier iterations of this site. They are kept under our no-drop content policy but read with appropriate context: they are historical, not always current best practice. We continue to refresh and update where the content has lasting practitioner value.

Education is the entry point. Engagements are the depth.

Who we are

The named bylines on InventoryPath are the practitioners. Several of them lead AvanSaber engagements when they are not writing. Author pages link to their professional profiles where public.

The team works out of AvanSaber’s offices in the United States and India, with engagement delivery globally.

How to get in touch

If you need expert hands on your inventory problem:

We are intentional about which engagements we take on. We do not staff every project that comes in. The discovery conversation is partly so we can assess whether our team is the right fit for your specific problem; that honesty saves both sides time.

About AvanSaber

AvanSaber is the parent organization. Founded in 2014, AvanSaber began as a specialized SAP implementation company focused on utilities and energy sectors. With over a decade of experience, AvanSaber has grown into a full-stack enterprise solutions provider, expanding into AI implementation, digital transformation, and vertical practices including the inventory practice that operates as InventoryPath.

The AvanSaber portfolio also includes ERPClaw (AI-native ERP), TailTest (AI software testing), and several other product and consulting properties. The inventory practice at InventoryPath is structurally similar to AvanSaber’s other vertical practices: a content surface that establishes practitioner credibility, paired with engagement capacity that delivers against the topics covered.
